This is my beautiful mom holding her youngest great granddaughter . Love you Mom and wish I was there with you today.
It is now three weeks since breaking my wrist and there is improvement but still not great , I have adjusted as best I can with this situation but I will tell you it makes you appreciate having two hands to use . I will be seeing the surgeon on Tuesday and there will be another cast change as they have to change the position of my wrist , anyone want to change places with me? Enough crying in my beer I will do what it takes to get me back to normal and quilting again .Thanks for dropping by today and if you are a mother , I hope you have a special day and if your mom is close by be sure to give her a hug and let her know how much you appreciate her.
hugs Sheila
I do hope you have good news when you get the cast changed and so sorry you are feeling down. Your mum looks so proud with her new great grand child.

ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day and that your mom had company on such a special day. I have all my fingers and toes crossed that your apt goes well and they can change the cast without too much discomfort. Maybe they'll even give you an idea of how much longer you need to stay in one.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a special day Sheila despite not being able to travel. It was lovely for me to spend Mothering Sunday back in March with my mother - the first time in many years. I have not forgoten your prize - I will get it in the post at the beginning of next week. Hope all goes well with your trip to the surgeon. xx
