WIP Wednesday

My the weeks go by fast , here it is Wednesday again and time to link up with WIP Wednesday with the Needle and Thread Network  . In my last post I said I was heading to the machine to make some more progress on the Good Night Irene quilt , well I didn't quite make it ,no I went over to my cutting table with every intention of squaring up my little stack of x blocks when I noticed a pattern I had recently printed off and well I just had to start , you know how that happens right  ;-) The pattern is a free spring pattern from Pat Sloan and was so cute I couldn't resist so I started making the background and cutting out the applique pieces and here  is as far as I  have gotten.
Now you have to admit those cute little chicks are hard to resist , and I had all the fabrics so why not ? If you want to make this pattern just go here  .
I have other things in the works that I can't share just now but I'll keep you posted . This a short post as I have a few pressing jobs to take care of . Thanks for stopping by and be sure to hop on over to the Needle and Thread Network to see what others have been up to this week .
 hugs Sheila

  15. Much better to make such a little pattern right away than to add to the ever-lengthening want-to-make list!
