I joined the Crazy Quilting Friday group over at Quilting Fiesta blog and here is my first crazy quilt block , I learned a few things from this , make sure your piece is large enough , and put that lace in before you add another piece of fabric , I am sure that would be so much easier than doing it after the fact . It was fun to do though and I can see this being a great way to use up some of those scraps that seem to always be in my sewing room ;-0If you would like to join in on the fun just head on over to here and sign up , I think Betsy will be happy to have you join this little group and ,I'm sure you will love making these fun blocks and using those stitches we all never use on our machines , or at least I seldom use .

I had a go at this and made the squares into a couple of pot holders, great way to use up scraps :)
