Tuesdays Treasures

If you remember I said I had visited a white elephant table on Sat . of last week , well these dishes are some of my treasures so I am sharing them today as my Tuesdays Treasures which is so graciously hosted by Melody of the House on the Side of the Hill
They are gorgeous dishes , a simple design called Stardust by Noritake but so lovely and the cup is so very nice to have tea in I have been enjoying it ever since it came home with me :-) . The best part is the lot you see here cost me just $ 5 ,not bad huh! Then I spotted these lovely Noritake plates in an everyday weight all different but again I loved them so just had to buy the plates as well as the sugar bowl , she charged me another $5 for these which I thought was fair .

We also purchased a vintage camera , a lovely Canon movie camera from 1962 , I googled the model and found lots of interesting things about it and you can still buy film so we are going to try to find some and give it a go . I didn't take a picture of it just yet but promise to share later , I really doubt it was ever used .  We had fun in that church and I wish we had been there much earlier as we arrived near closing time . Oh well I think I still scored real well . Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll be back with some photos of the quilt shows soon, my oldest son is home for two days so want to spend as much time as possible with him . Hugs Sheila
