I love buttons, too! I inherited my mom's button jar, and I always look there first if I only need a button or two for a project.
ReplyDeleteAh buttons! I don't have a button jar but my mom had one when I was little. I remember dumping out that jar, sorting and inspecting all of them. Over and over. I loved adding to that jar too! Guess I should start my own button jar!
ReplyDeleteButtons! I have loads of them, stored in several tins and baskets.
ReplyDeleteMy mum used her buttons not only for sewing, but also to teach us sorting things and counting! Was always a pleasure, sitting at the table with a cup of tea, close to mummy. Sweet sweet memories.
I just started to collect 4"x 4" fabric scraps to make a thimble quilt.
Enjoy your day, Sheila. Hugs from Holland.
